I created BREATHWORKS because I’ve experienced the transformative effects of breathwork on my own life and have spent years working with men around the world to help them master their own breath, health and fitness.

Charlie Binder Rios
Charlie is a qualified yoga teacher & personal trainer and has been practising breathwork for over ten years. He left a corporate career at the start of 2020 to pursue his dream of studying yoga in the Indian Himalayas and has been working with men in one-to-one and group settings ever since to help them realise their potential. He considers breath the most powerful tool of all for improving physical, mental & emotional health.
Absolutely not. You've already been breathing your entire life. This course simply takes the knowledge & teachings from yoga, personal training & biomechanics and teaches you how to apply them in the most practical & accessible way possible. All you need to do is focus your attention, give your best effort and take it (literally) one breath at a time.
While sitting crossed legged has a number of benefits (including opening tight hips which many men suffer with), there is no need to sit in this way to practice breathwork. Breathwork can be practised on a chair as long as you sitting with a straight spine and relaxed shoulders. Sitting on the floor can also be made much easier by sitting on cushions or blocks which raise the hips up - the most important thing is having a neutral (not rounded) lower back. You can use the dedicated Breathe to Move class to improve your posture and prepare you for sitting cross legged.
The course is made up of recorded classes and teaching materials (PDF & documents) that provide you with all the information you need to build your own breathwork practice. When you buy the course you get lifetime access to all the materials so you can do the course as many times as you wish.
Our breath is directly linked to our nervous and regulatory systems. In the event of experiencing any lightheadedness or adverse effects while performing any exercises, simply return to what you consider to be your "normal" relaxed breathing pattern. Any adverse sensations should pass momentarily.
